TORONTO - After nearly two decades as the Ward 10, York Centre Councillor, Mike Feldman has announced his retirement. Smart Commute – North Toronto, Vaughan Executive Director and Ward 10 council candidate Brian Shifman holds the outgoing Councillor in high esteem.

"Mike Feldman has championed the causes of society's most vulnerable, including low-income families and those with disabilities," said Shifman.

A former City of Toronto Deputy Mayor, Feldman has sat on numerous boards and made a positive impact on the community during his tenure.

"Mike leaves behind some big shoes to fill," said Shifman. "If elected as his successor, I plan to apply my passion and proven work ethic to providing strong leadership for the residents of Ward 10, York Centre."
